Chennangi Aaku Podi
Ingredients:
1.Chennangi Aaku
2.Dried red chillies
3.Tamarind
4.Urad dal
5.Garlic cloves
6.Jaggery
7.Turmeric powder
8.Coriander seeds
9.Sesame seeds
10.Saindavalavanam(rock salt)
11.Cow ghee
Preparation:
1.Dry roast,chana dal,urad dal, tamarind coriander seeds for few minutes till well smell.
2.Once roasted add sesame seeds and dry roast till they start spluttering and transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same mud pan add chenangi aaku with curry leaves and saute till crisp.
4.Transfer the leaves into roasted lentils,Heat some cow ghee in the same mud pan add dry red chillies and fry till raw flavor goes off.
5.Add garlic,turmeric powder,saindavalavanam(rock salt),jaggery and to the roasted ingredients and blend well into light rough powder.Serve with rice,idli or dosa.
