Mushroom Pulao


Ingredients:

1.Basmati Rice 1 cup soaked for 30 minutes
2.Mushrooms thick sliced
3.Salt to taste
4.Lemon juice 2 tbsp
5.Oil 1 tbsp
6.Bay leaf 1
7.Cinnamon stick 1 inch piece
8.Green Cardamom 2
9.Cloves 4
10.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
11.Onion chopped 1/2 cup
12.Ginger 1 tbsp chopped
13.Garlic 1 tbsp chopped
14.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
15.Red chilli powder to taste
16.Green peas 1/2 cup
17.Capsicum 1/2 chopped

Preparation:

1.Take a pot pour some water and bring it to boil,add salt, and mushrooms, bay leaf mix well.Keep aside for 15 minutes.
2.Take another pot pour some oil and heat,add,green cardamoms,cinnamon stick,cloves.Saute for 30 seconds.
3.Add cumin seeds allow it to sizzle,add onion chopped fry till to golden brown.
4. Add Ginger and Garlic and cook for another few minutes.
5.Add mushrooms and fry,
6.Cook the mushrooms till golden brown color.
7.Add soaked rice to the pot, add garam,red chilli powder and mix well evenly.
8.Add Green Peas and Bell Pepper ,masala powder and mix well.
9.After 15 minutes off the stove and smoothly turn the rice upside down. Cover again and rest it for few minutes.serve up hot.
