Mushroom and Corn Pulao


Ingredients:

1.Basmati rice soaked 1 1/2 cup
2.Button mushrooms sliced 20-25
3.Corn kernels 3/4 cup
4.Oil 1 tbsp
5.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
6.Bay leaf 1
7.Cloves 2
8.Black pepper corns 5
9.Green cardamoms 2
10.Black cardamom 1
11.Mace 1 blade
12.Ginger chopped 1 inch piece
13.Green chillies slit 2-3
14.Salt to taste
15.Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Take a pot pour 1 tbsp oil and heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds and when they start to change in colour add bay leaf,cloves,pepper corns,green cardamoms,black cardamom,cinnamon stick,mace blade.Saute for few seconds.
3.Add,green chillies ginger chopped ,mix well.Fry for a minute.
4.Add corn kernel, mushrooms and fry for few minutes.
5.Add basmati rice 1 1/2 cups,water 3 cups,salt give it a blend. Bring it to bubble.
6.cover up and cook over medium heat until the water has almost immersed by rice.Finally add lemon juice 1 tbsp and mix smoothly. serve up hot.
