Kharbuja Seeds Pulihora


Ingredients:

1.Roasted muskmelon seeds 1/2 cup
2.Rice 1 cup
3.Peanuts 2 tbsp
4.Chana dal 1 tbsp
5.Roasted coriander seeds 1 tbsp
6.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Roasted dried red chillies 4
8.Green chillies 2
9.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
10.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
11.Garlic cloves 4
12.Cashew nuts
13.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
14.Curry leaves
15.Coriander leaves
16.Salt to taste
17.Oil 3 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Blend muskmelon seeds,chana dal,coriander seeds,dried red chillies,cumin seeds, ,salt and blend into a smooth powder.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves, garlic cloves green chillies,peanuts, ,cashew nuts turmeric powder and fry for few minutes and mix well,cook on average flame.
3.Add cooked rice and ground masala powder,mix and coat well the rice uniformly all over.Switch off the flame.
4. spray some salt,lemon juice and give it a good stir. relocate into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves. serve up hot.
