Kakarakaya (bitter gourd)Podi
Ingredients:
1.Kakarakayalu
2.Jaggery
3.Dry coconut powder
4.Garlic
5.Saindavalavanam(rock salt)
6.Red chilli powder
7.Cow ghee
Preparation:
1.Thoroughly wash kakarakayalu in water, cut into bite size pieces, dry in sun light.
3. Blend red chili powder, saindavalavanam(rock salt), garlic, coconut powder,jaggery and blend well.
4. Heat some cow ghee in a mud pan,squeeze add to fry kakarakaya.
5. Saute for few minutes on medium flame till golden colour.
6. Now add blended masala to frying mud pan and mix well. roast for few minutes .relocate into a bowl and serve with hot rice.
