Corn Veggie Soup


Ingredients:

1.Corn kernels 2 1/4 cup
2.Tomato 1 medium
3.Cabbage 1 finely chopped
4.String beans 8-10
5.Carrot 1 small
6.Corn flour 1 tbsp
7.Cow ghee 1 tbsp
8.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
9.Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
10.Saindava lavanam(rock salt) to taste
11.Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Preparation:

1.Chop the veggies(cabbage,carrot,beans) into small pieces and remove the seeds of tomatoes and set aside.
2. Cook the corn in about 1-1/2 cups of sufficient water till to corn is soft.
3.Blend the corn into a paste and strain.
4.Mix the cornstarch with sufficient water and set aside.
5.Heat cow ghee in a mud pan,add in cumin seeds and saute till they start blistering add in chopped veggies and add sufficient water.Cook till veggies are tender.
6.Next, add the corn paste, cornstarch mixture, and sufficient water to the vegetables. Bring the soup to a boil  . Let the soup cook for another few minutes.switch off the stove Add the lemon juice and serve
