Masale Bath
Ingredients:
1.Basmati rice 2 cups
2.Coriander seeds 3 tbsp
3.Tomato 1 chopped
4.Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
5.Peanuts 4 tbsp
6.Cinnamon stick 1 inch
7.Garam masala powder 2 tbsp
8.Cloves 5
9.Green chillies 3
10.Bay leaves 2
11.Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
12.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
13.Onion 1 sliced
14.Potato 1 cubed
15.Cauliflower 1 cup
16.Oil 3 tbsp
17.Curry leaves
18.Mustard/Cumin seeds 1 tbsp both
19.Pinch of hing
20.Green peas 1 cup
21.Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Preparation:
1.Wash and soak rice for 60 minutes.
2.fry coriander seeds, cinnamon stick ,cumin seeds,cloves till it changes its color.
3.Rest the mixture to cool down, crush themixture
4.Heat oil in a pot, pinch of hing add in bay leaf,mustard seeds,cumin seeds, ,curry leaves,onion sliced. fry till nice golden color.
5.Add turmeric powder,ginger chopped and fry for a minute.
6.Now add crushed ,garam masala powder,red chilli powder and fry for few seconds.
7.Add,cauliflower and add some salt.Add in some water and cook for few minutes.
8.Add rice, chopped tomatoes, peanuts ,Mix well all the ingredients and cook for few minutes on medium flame.
9.After 5 minutes reduce the heat and cook for another few minuteson low flame.
10.Cook till done,now off the stove add green peas for a minute.
11.Sprinkle with coriander leaves and green piece, serve up hot.
