Katte Pongali



Ingredients:

1.Moong dal
2.Rice
3.Pepper
4.Mustard seeds
5.Cumin seeds
6.Curry leaves
7.Green chillies
8.Ghee
9.Salt to taste
 
Preparation:


1.Take a pot pour 1 tbsp ghee and melt it.
2.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, pepper corns 6-8,curry leaves,green chillies,ginger chopped, fry for few minutes.
3.Add,moong dal 1/2 cup,rice 1 cup,water 3 cups water salt to taste and cover it with a lid.
4,cook rhe whole mixer
5. Tnsfer into a bowl,garnish with ginger chopped,. serve up hot.
