Dill Pulao
Ingredients: 1.Dill leaves 2.Basmati rice 3.Ghee 4.Cumin seeds 5.Onions 6.Bay leaves 7.Cinnamon stick 8.Green and Black Cardamom 9.Cloves 10.Garlic chopped 11.Ginger chopped 12.Green chillies 13.Salt to taste Preparation: 1.Heat some ghee in a pan, put in cumin seeds, bay leaves,cardamom,cloves,cinnamon and fry for 30 seconds. 2.Add finely chopped onions fry till togoldenbrown colour,garlic,ginger,green chillies finely chopped and blend well
3 awash and drained basmati rice, finely chop dill leaves
and blend well, fry for 2 minutes till most of the humidity evaporates.
4.Add salt to taste,2 cups of water and combine well.Cover and cook on middle heat for few minutes. 5.Once done plump up the rice with wooden spoon gently, cover up and cook for another few minutes till complete. Serve warm |
